The Bianconeri picked up back to back wins in Serie A as they move to fourth position in Serie A table

Juventus have defeated dark horses Sassuolo 3-1 at home, with all the goals coming in the first half.

Weston McKennie and Paulo Dybala Injuries

The Old Lady didn’t have the desired start to the game after both Weston McKennie and Paulo Dybala were forced off the field due to injuries in the first half.

The hosts were handed a big advantage following Obiang’s dismissal on the brink of the half-time whistle.

Goals – Juventus vs Sassuolo

It proved true when Danilo put Juve ahead with a long-range effort before Sassuolo responded with an equaliser from Defrel’s effort.

With the game approaching the final ten minutes, Juve established the lead with the help of Aaron Ramsey while Cristiano Ronaldo put the game to bed.

Despite being on the winning end, Juve failed to be as fluent as they were in the previous game against Milan and had to wait until Sassuolo reduced to ten-man.

Nonetheless, the defending champions continued their winning run in the league following last week’s emphatic victory over Milan.

Even Andrea Pirlo, Juve manager, abided with the fact that his side often struggled to create more chances while praising the Bianconeri:s determination.

“It was important for us to give a sense of consistency by winning this evening, otherwise the win at Milan on Wednesday wouldn’t mean anything.

“We were a little sluggish at times this evening, but we became a little less organised and more determined, so we showed the hunger required to win the game.”

Sassuolo were also unlucky to lose a game and the red-card incident played a big hand in the defeat.

Juventus will face Genoa in their newt league fixture.
