Juventus are not considering sacking Max Allegri

Juventus are off to a disappointing start in Serie A this season, which has left the fans frustrated.

The Bianconeri are currently seventh in the table with 28 points, with rivals Inter Milan sitting at the top with 40 points.

There have been calls for Max Allegri to be sacked, but the Old Lady are in no hurry to make such a decision, reports Football Italia.

Allegri returned to Turin last summer after Juventus got rid of inexperienced Andrea Pirlo.

After failed experiments with Maurizio Sarri and Pirlo, it was Juve president Andrea Agnelli’s decision to recall Allegri, who was responsible for the Old Ladys’ monopoly in his previous stint.

In addition, the Italian manager has signed an expensive contract until 2025 and dismissing him very early would lead to financial disaster.

The Turin giants recently dropped points after the 1-1 draw against Venezia in Serie A. They will up against Bologna next.

Paulo Dybala closing in on a contract extension

Juventus could soon put an end to Paulo Dybala’s contract saga, as a new report from Football Italia, via JuveFC, states that the Argentine’s agent is in Turin to finalise the new deal.

There has been a lot of uncertainty on Dybala’s future, with his current deal expiring at the end of this season.

Juventus had also struggled to reach a conclusion for over a year but now they must be feeling relieved.

After going through a tough spell last season, Dybala has revived his form under Allegri this term, racking up 8 goals and 3 assists in all competitions.
