PSG set to submit €70 million offer for Achraf Hakimi, transfer close

Conte-Hakimi-Inter Milan

Paris Saint Germain are extremely keen on signing Achraf Hakimi from Inter Milan this summer, and they are set to submit an improved bid of around €70 million for the Moroccan defender.

Hakimi is one of the best fullbacks in the world right now, and he would be a sensational addition to Mauricio Pochettino’s defence.

The right-back has been a major weakness for PSG over the last few years, and the signing of Hakimi could take them to a whole new level.

The 22-year-old is exceptional going forward, and he’s a reasonably good defender as well.

Apparently, the French outfit have reached an agreement with the player regarding personal terms, and he is set to sign a five-year contract with them once the transfer fee is agreed with Inter Milan.

PSG will face competition from Chelsea for the Moroccan defender, but the Blues are yet to submit a concrete offer for him.

Chelsea have been in touch with the player’s agent, and it will be interesting to see if they come forward with a bit in the coming weeks.

PSG should look to wrap up the transfer as quickly as possible in order to fend off competition from the Blues.

Hakimi has been a key player for Inter Milan this past season, and he was crucial to their title win. However, it appears that Inter Milan are under financial stress, and that is why they will have to cash in on some of their players this summer.

The 22-year-old chipped in with seven goals and eleven assists in all competitions for the Italian club.
