The talented Portuguese star will join Barcelona this summer.

Francisco Trincao has talked about his next objectives ahead of the much-anticipated Barcelona move. The Portuguese winger has said that he is well prepared to join the Catalan kings while pointing out that he is looking for more playing time with the new club.

Trincao said, “I think I can bring my quality to the team. I’m really strong mentally. I’m always looking to score goals and provide assists and to help the team.

“My objectives are playing the maximum amount of games, helping the team, conquering everything, and winning all of the titles.”

He also added that his ideal position is to play on the right side but he is ready to abide by what the coach wants from him.

“I prefer to play on the right side but I’m going to do what the coach tells me to do. I’m going to help the team as a forward whether it be on the right side or left side.”

Barca announced the signing of Trincao from Brage earlier this year for a reported fee of 31 million euros.

Since the announcement. Trincao has been spectacular for Braga, scoring goals and providing assists every few days. He racked up a total of eight goals and assists in the recently-ended Liga NOS season.

The 20-year-old is poised to join the Blaugrana in the pre-season while it is reported that the Portuguese prodigy would be preferred as a starter next term.

Barca are also looking to include Pedri, another incoming player, to the main-team no matter how he performs in the pre-season.
