Getafe will look to secure their La Liga destiny this Sunday when they welcome Barcelona to Coliseum Alfonso Perez.

Despite starting their season with seven straight losses, the hosts have done just enough to guarantee that they will be playing in the Spanish top flight for the sixth consecutive season.

They come into this tie on the back of a 1-1 draw with Osasuna. The result extended their unbeaten run to four games, although their last three games have all ended in draws.

They need just one point this season to mathematically secure their La Liga destiny and will fancy their chances of getting that point in this game given that they have kept three clean sheets in their last four games.

The ‘Azulones’ will have one of the best home defences in the league this season, with only a handful of teams conceding fewer La Liga home goals than Getafe (15). They have kept nine clean sheets across their last 12 home matches and won newly crowned champions Real Madrid 2-0 in this venue.

Possible Getafe starting line-up

David Soria; Djene Dakonam, Okay Yokuslu, Jorge Cuenca; Damian Suarez, Mario Arambarri, Matthias OliveraNmanja Maksimovic, Florentino; Borja Mayoral, Enes Unal.

Injured: Erick Cabaco, Jaime Mata

Doubtful: None

Suspended: Stefan Mitrovic

Barcelona will look to make it four wins in four games when they travel to the capital this Sunday.

The visitors come into this encounter on the back of three straight wins, with their last win coming in a 3-1 win over Celta Vigo.

And so, what has been a trophyless season is ending on a positive note as their win over Celta Vigo confirmed their place in the UEFA Champions League football for next term.

However, they may need a point to confirm the second spot and qualify for the Spanish Super Cup, given that they are currently five points ahead of Atletico Madrid in third place.

A win or a draw in this game guarantees that and will also allow the Catalan side some positive momentum ahead of their final game of the season at the Camp Nou, which is due to be renovated in the coming months.

But the visitors will have to be prepared to suffer to win here given that two of their last three wins have seen a 2-1 scoreline – as did the reverse fixture.

Possible Barcelona starting line-up

Marc ter Stegen; Oscar Mingueza, Dani Alves, Ronald Araujo, Jordi Alba; Pablo Gavira, Frenkie de Jong; Ousmane Dembele, Ferran Torres, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Injured: Gerard Pique, Eric Garcia, Nico Gonzalez, Pedri, Sergi Roberto, Sergino Dest,

Doubtful: Ronald Araujo

Suspended: None
