Harry Kane sent Real Madrid transfer warning

Former Tottenham star Van der Vaart thinks that Harry Kane should not consider a transfer to Real Madrid and added that the English striker would be an ideal fit for Manchester United.

Kane, 27, has been linked with a move away from Spurs, with both United and Madrid said to be considering a swoop this summer.

However, Van der Vaart claims that Kane would struggle to adapt to life in Spain.

“He is now the best striker after [Robert] Lewandowski, and he is the man at Tottenham.

“It may sound crazy, but you would almost say go to Manchester United or something, stay in England.

“Usually, it’s not such a success when an English player goes to Madrid.”

Besides, Barcelona have also identified Kane as an alternative for Dortmund striker Erling Haaland.

Zidane provides a fresh Injury update of Hazard, ahead of the Liverpool clash

Zinedine Zidane remains optimistic about Eden Hazard’s return ahead of the Champions League quarter-final game against Liverpool.

The Belgian’s injury struggles continued this season as well, which limited his league appearances to just nine. He also missed the last eight La Liga games after suffering an injury in the right psoas.

But, the Frenchman is hopeful that Hazard can return to Wednesday’s game against the Reds.

Hopefully, we can get [Federico] Valverde and Hazard back,” Zidane said.

“We will see tomorrow and the day after. Today it was not possible but I hope that on Tuesday they can be with us.”
