The PSG star is said to be having second thoughts on playing under the Italian gaffer.

PSG star Kylian Mbappe tried to force an exit in the summer to join Real Madrid but was to no avail in the end.

Despite Madrid’s lucrative offers, Les Parisiens managed to hold on to the French World Cup winner.

Mbappe later spoke about the failed transfer and also insisted that he would only play for Los Blancos should he leave Parc Des Princes.

The 22-year-old’s contract expires at the end of this season, meaning that he can negotiate with clubs outside France in January.

Although Madrid are said to be the frontrunners to sign him on a free transfer, they might face a stumbling block in their pursuit.

According to Sport Bible, Mbappe is having second thoughts on playing under manager Carlo Ancelotti, who succeeded Zinedine Zidane in the summer.

Mbappe is said to be unhappy with the managerial change and he would prefer to play under Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp.

The former Monaco star feels that he can flourish under the German manager, who has worked wonders with the Merseyside club in recent years. Mbappe is also reportedly hoping to see Klopp in the dugout of Los Blancos.

Klopp was linked with a move to the Spanish capital club in the past however the interest has withered over the years.

The former Dortmund gaffer is tied to a contract at Anfield until 2024 and he is expected to see out his deal as it did in his previous spells. Klopp had earlier stated that he would take a break for a year should he leave the Reds.

Ancelotti has exceeded the expectations at the Bernabeu this season, with Los Blancos currently second in the La Liga table, a point behind Real Sociedad.
