Wolves striker Raul Jimenez is thought to be a target for Liverpool this summer. As per reports via Birmingham Mail, the Mexican is being considered by Jurgen Klopp.
The German manager wants to add to his world class attacking unit and the Wolves star would be a sensational addition.
Jimenez has been in red-hot form for Wolves ever since he joined them and he would improve Liverpool in the final third.
Not only is he a reliable goalscorer, his overall play would help the Reds as well. Jimenez is good in the air and he can hold up the player and link up with his teammates.
Liverpool have a fantastic creative forward in Firmino but the Brazilian doesn’t score enough goals. Jimenez could be the ideal alternative.
The Mexican could lead the line at Anfield next season and allow Firmino to play as the number ten with Salah and Mane flanking him. It will be interesting to see if the Reds can agree on a fee with Wolves this summer.
Nuno will not want to part with his prized asset and Wolves will demand a huge fee if they are forced to sell the player.
Liverpool have been linked with Timo Werner as well and it will be interesting to see who they end up with.
The Reds will know that they must improve in order to beat City to the title next season and Jimenez would be the type of signing that gives them the edge in the title race.
