The Roma striker has agreed to a two-year deal with Serie A champions.

Juventus have finally sorted out their striker dilemma ahead of the new season.

According to reports, Juventus have agreed over a £15m deal to sign Roma striker Edin Dzeko.

The Bosninan international will sign a two-year deal with Bianconeri after spending six-long years with Roma.

Barcelona striker Luis Suarez was touted to be the option to replace Gonzalo Higuain but the deal hasn’t seen the light of the day.

It has been reported that the Uruguayan had agreed terms with a move to Turin, only to be denied by Juve director Fabio Paratici later.

Meanwhile, Atletico Madrid have emerged as the suitors to sign Suarez, who has been given the cold shoulder by new Barca manager Ronald Koeman.

Elsewhere, Dzeko’s signing would mark Juve’s second in the space of a month following the signing of Weston McKennie.

Andrea Pirlo has recently stated his intentions to bring in a new striker ahead of the new season.

Arkadiusz Milik and Alexandre Lacazette had also been considered by Juve but it is Dzeko, who has come on top.

The 35-year-old had an impressive last season in Serie A, racking up 16 goals and 7 assists. He also found the net against Italy in the Nations League earlier this month. Dzeko is the all-time top scorer for Bosnian national team.

Meanwhile, Roma are looking to replace Dzeko with Napoli forward Milik, who is expected to leave the club this summer.
