Real Madrid considering the sale of Vinicius Jr due to poor form

Vinicius Junior-Real Madrid

Los Blancos are looking to offload the Brazilian youngster this summer.

Vinicius Jr’s time at Real Madrid looks to be over as the Spanish giants are reportedly willing to sell him in the summer transfer window due to his poor form.

Dubbed as the next breakout star of Brazil following his highly-anticipated transfer to Santiago Bernabeu in 2018, Vinicius has failed to find his true form yet.

In the ongoing La Liga season, the 20-year-old has racked up a poor stat – 2 goals in 17 appearances – which has led Zinedine Zidane to overlook him since the turn of the year.

Vinicius hasn’t hit his full potential over the last two seasons and his relationship with his teammates also looks to have deteriorated this term.

It all started from the incident with Karim Benzema, who was spotted speaking to his compatriot Ferlan Mendy in French that he should not pass the ball to Vinicius.

Benzema to Mendy: Don’t play with him. On my mother’s life, he [Vinicius] is playing against us.”

Next up was his reported ill behaviour during the team’s pep talk ahead of the Champions League clash against Manchester City in August, which in return irked Zidane.

Now, the chances are high that the former Flamengo star could be playing for a new club next season but it remains to be seen where he would eventually end up if Madrid were to sell him in the summer.
