Manchester United picked up an impressive 5-2 win over Bournemouth in the Premier League earlier.

Despite going down 1-0, the Red Devils managed to bounce back and put on a splendid performance.

Junior Stanislas scored the opening goal for the Cherries on the 15th minute and Mason Greenwood brought Manchester United level on the 29th minute.

The youngster was on fire against Bournemouth and he seemed unplayable at times.

Marcus Rashford put United ahead with his 35th minute penalty and Anthony Martial doubled United’s advantage with a stunner during the first half stoppage time.

Bournemouth came back into the game through a Josh King penalty on the 49th minute but their chances of a comeback was wiped clean when Greenwood struck his second of the game five minutes later.

Star signing Bruno Fernandes wrapped up the scoring with a curling freekick around the hour mark.

The win leaves Manchester United fourth in the table, ahead of Chelsea. However, the Blues have a game in hand.

Solskjaer’s men are now just three points behind Leicester City and they will fancy a top three finish.

The Red Devils have been in exceptional form since the restart and if they can continue to perform at this level, they should be able to secure Champions League football for the next season.

Bruno Fernandes has made a significant impact since joining and he could be the catalyst for them in the remaining games as well.

The defeat leaves Bournemouth on 27 points in 19th.
