 Willian closing in on exit

Arsenal midfielder Willian is expected to leave the club this summer and the Brazilian international has received an offer from Corinthians.

Willian has been a major disappointment since his move from Chelsea and the midfielder has been angling for a move away from the Gunners for quite some time.

His departure would certainly be a positive for Arsenal because of his massive wages. The Brazilian is one of the highest earners at the club and he has not been able to justify his salary through his performances.

It would be wise of Arsenal to offload the player and reduce their wage bill this summer.

Apparently joining a European club remains the priority for the Brazilian midfielder but Corinthians have huge chances of signing him.

The Gunners are thought to be prepared to let him leave on a free transfer.

Torreira heading back to Italy

On the other hand, Lucas Torreira is closing in on a return to Serie A.

The Uruguayan midfielder has been linked with a move away from the London club for months now and it appears that Fiorentina have agreed on a deal with the Premier League side.

Apparently, the Italians will pay a loan fee of €1.5 million and then pay a fee of around €15 million to make the deal permanent.

The player is now expected to undergo his medical with the Italian outfit.

Eintracht Frankfurt were keen on signing the South American midfielder as well but he prefers the move to Fiorentina.
