Chelsea Update: Donnarumma boost, Tomori wanted, player plus cash deal for La Liga star, Ziyech future

Donnarumma boost

Chelsea had been linked with a move for the AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.

The Blues will need to get rid of the underperforming Kepa Arizzabalaga in the summer, and Donnarumma would be a superb addition.

Apparently, AC Milan are keen on keeping the goalkeeper at the club for the long term, but contract talks between the two parties have stalled.

It will be interesting to see if Chelsea can take advantage of the situation & the 22-year-old goalkeeper this summer.

Tomori wanted

Meanwhile, AC Milan are keen on signing Fikayo Tomori permanently at the end of this season.

The defender joined the Italian club on loan from Chelsea, and he has been outstanding for them so far.

Milan have the option to sign the defender permanently for a fee of around €28 million, and they are determined to secure services for the long term.

Kounde player plus cash deal

Meanwhile the Blues have been linked with a move for the French defender Jules Kounde.

Apparently the Blues are looking to offer Sevilla cash and some players in exchange for the Frenchman.

Chelsea have quite a few fringe players at their disposal and they will be looking to use them in order to sign Kounde this summer.

Apparently the likes of Batshuayi, Bakayoko, Arizzabalaga, Abraham and Ziyech are some of the players who could be offered to the Spanish club to sweeten the deal along with some cash.

Ziyech exit

Meanwhile, Moroccan playmaker Hakim Ziyech could leave Chelsea this summer after just one season at the club.

The 28-year-old has struggled to hold down a regular starting berth at Stamford Bridge, and he has made just 28 appearances for them so far.

The appointment of Thomas Tuchel has cast a doubt over his future at Stamford Bridge.

Frank Lampard signed the midfielder, but it seems that he is not a key part of Tuchel’s plans.

It will be interesting to see if the Moroccan decides to leave the club this summer.
