Chelsea have been linked with several attackers in recent weeks, and it appears that the Bayern Munich forward Robert Lewandowski is on their radar as well.

According to the latest reports, manager Thomas Tuchel is looking to replace Romelu Lukaku with the Polish international, but there are considerable complications surrounding the two transfers.

Apparently, Belgian international Romelu Lukaku is keen on leaving Stamford Bridge this summer and wants to return to Inter Milan.

Lukaku was exceptional for the Italian club, and he helped them win the title before returning to Stamford Bridge last season in a club-record deal.

However, he managed to score just 8 goals for the Premier League side last season, and the transfer has simply not worked out for both parties.

Apparently, Lukaku has already held talks with Inter Milan regarding a potential return, and Chelsea have also indicated that they are willing to let the player leave.

However, the Blues spent a whopping amount of money for his services last season, and it will be interesting to see if they are willing to accept a considerable hit on the transfer fee while selling the player.

Inter Milan are highly unlikely to pay a premium for Lukaku’s services, given his performances last season.

Meanwhile, Robert Lewandowski has been heavily linked with Barcelona, and the player has publicly admitted that he wants to leave the German club this summer.

The Polish international is undoubtedly a world-class player and one of the best strikers on the planet right now.

Replacing Lukaku with Lewandowski would be a massive upgrade for Chelsea.

The likes of Paris Saint Germain and Manchester United are keeping tabs on the 33-year-old striker, who is likely to cost around €40m.

The Bayern Munich striker scored 50 goals in 46 appearances for the Bundesliga outfit last season, and he has the ability to transform Chelsea into title challengers next season.
