End of the road for Paul Pogba at Manchester United, as Raiola comments

Paul Pogba-Manchester United

Paul Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola says Midfielder’s time At Manchester United is over.

Mino Raiola, the super-agent of Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba, has declared that his agent needs a ‘change of scenery’ as he is ‘unhappy’ at the club. The Portuguese who is no stranger to controversy dropped the news when speaking to Tuttosport radio, confirming that his client will not renew his contract with Premier League giant.

Paul Pogba has been subject to several criticisms this season due to his poor form and perceived lack of commitment to the club. He has been in an out of the side due to injuries and poor form. He scored his first goal for the club this season in the 3-1 win over West Ham, but has been largely restricted to cameo appearances this season. And with the arrival of van Der Beek, the midfielder is likely to see his role further reduced.

The Frenchman who is on his second spell at United has made known his desire to play somewhere else, and now his agent has moved to confirm the news.

“There’s no point beating about the bush. It’s better to speak out clearly, look forward and avoid wasting time to find culprits.” Raiola said while speaking to Tuttosport.

“Paul is unhappy at Man United, he can’t manage to express himself like he wants to and like people expect him to.

“He needs to change team, he needs a change of scenery. He has a contract that will expire in a year and a half, in the summer of 2022, but the best solution for all parties is a transfer in the next (summer) window.

“Otherwise the Old Trafford club, which I have a great relationship with, knows well that they would risk losing him on a free transfer, given that at the moment it’s not the player’s intention to extend the contract.

“If anybody can’t understand this, then they know little or nothing about football. Anyway, they’re free to direct all the blame to me if Paul were to leave next summer.”

Real Madrid has been touted as the possible destination of the midfielder, who has not hidden his desire to play for the Spanish giants.
