Tottenham 4-0 Wolfsberger: Unplayable Alli, vintage Bale moments guide London side into next round

Dele Alli-Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham picked up a comfortable 4-0 win over Wolfsberger in the Europa League earlier tonight.

The Premier League side picked up a 4-1 win in the first leg and they have managed to secure another comfortable result tonight.

The London side have been quite mediocre in the Premier League so far this season and the European performances will give the fans some hope and joy.

Jose Mourinho’s side were in complete control from start to finish and they deserved to pick up the massive win on aggregate.

The Premier League side started the game slowly but they increased the tempo as the match went on and the Londoners could have easily scored more goals.

Out of favour midfielder, Dele Alli produced a world-class performance for his side and it will be interesting to see if the England international can now cement his place in the starting lineup.

The 24-year-old scored an exceptional bicycle kick and created two more chances for his teammates.

Backup striker Carlos Vinicius scored a brace. Substitute Gareth Bale also added to his tally with a fantastic finish from a Dele Alli forward pass.

Wolfsberger were thoroughly outplayed over both legs and the result is completely fair on the balance of play.

It will be interesting to see if Tottenham can build on this and get their Premier League campaign back on track now.
