Cesc Fabregas warns Spurs player over Antonio Conte’s management.

Former Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas has warned Tottenham players about Antonio Conte, claiming that the Italian boss demands perfection from his players.

Fabregas was part of the Blues squad that won the 2016/17 Premier League title under Conte and the FA Cup the following season.

However, the Spaniard wasn’t as important for the Italian as he was at his former clubs Arsenal and Chelsea, making only 38 appearances in two seasons.

Now, Fabregas has claimed that it would be like going to school under the former Inter Milan boss.

The Spaniard also added that there was a lot of intensity in the training sessions during Conte’s time at Stamford Bridge.

Fabregas said (h/t Mirror): “I think with Antonio, it was the first time that I’ve seen someone know exactly [what they want]. It was like going to school.

“I promise you, he will tell you, from the goalkeeper until you have scored a goal, what you have to do, exactly everything.

Maybe it’s in a different way to how I saw football. At the beginning, it was difficult for me, don’t get me wrong. A lot of running, a lot of intensity. Big sessions, double sessions, gym sessions.

“I had coaches like Pep [Guardiola] who had a lot of positioning game but we had freedom inside of this. With Conte, the freedom was non-existent, he was telling me where I have to pass the ball.

“I’m 29 years old in that moment, I’ve already played for 13 years, I played in every final, I won a lot of things and this guy is telling me where I need to pass the ball.”

Conte’s amusing reply to John Terry’s Instagram post.

Former Chelsea defender John Terry posted a photo containing a book named Atomic Habits with a couple of biscuits and a cup of coffee on Instagram.

The caption also read (h/t The Sun): “5k Run. Some reading time and a couple of biscuits.

“Taking the dogs for a walk. Sunday lunch with the family down the pub.”Have a great Sunday.”

Conte, who had worked with Terry at Stamford Bridge, gave an amusing response to the post: “John only 1 biscuit ????????????.”

Terry shares a great relationship with Conte and both led the Blues to the Premier League glory in 2017.
