Liverpool were linked with a move for the West Ham United attacker Jarrod Bowen during the summer transfer window but the move did not materialise eventually.

The Reds could renew their interest in signing the West Ham attacker when the transfer window reopens in January according to the Liverpool Echo.

Bowen has made quite an impression since his move to West Ham from Hull City and he has managed to establish himself as one of the most exciting attackers in the Premier League.

He managed to pick up nine goals and nine assists for David Moyes’ side in his first season with the Hammers.

Bowen recently put in outstanding performances against Manchester United and he has further highlighted that he has the potential to play for a club like Liverpool.

Apart from his goal-scoring ability, the attacker is a hard-working player who contributes to the defensive phase of the game as well.

Furthermore, he’s an excellent presser and Jurgen Klopp likes players with tireless work ethic and pressing ability.

Bowen helped West Ham secure European qualification for this season and the Hammers will not want to sell one of their key attackers anytime soon.

The Reds might have to come forward with a lucrative offer to bring West Ham to the negotiating table during the winter transfer window and it remains to be seen how the situation unfolds.

The player will probably be tempted to join a club of Liverpool’s stature but he has a contract with West Ham and the Londoners will have the final say on the matter.
