Liverpool lining up Dembele move
Liverpool are reportedly preparing a summer move for Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele as a replacement for struggling Sadio Mane.
Mane has been underwhelming for the Reds this season and managed to find the nets only on 12 occasions. Furthermore, his recent performances in the Champions League quarter-finals against Real Madrid brought him a lot of stick.
Hence, the Merseyside are planning to cash in on the Senegalese international this summer while eyeing Dembele as an alternative.
The Frenchman has reinvigorated his form under Ronald Koeman this season, allowing him to be a regular for Barca, unlike the previous seasons where he hardly played due to injuries.
The World Cup winner’s upturn in form also helped him return to the international set-up after a long time and France manager Deschamps believes Dembele would be key for the upcoming European Championship.
Barca are also planning to tie the 23-year-old to a new deal as president Joan Laporta turns out to be a huge fan of the Frenchman.
However, it remains to be seen whether Dembele’s heads could turn if Liverpool comes up with a tempting offer.
Joaquin Correa tracked by the Reds
Jurgen Klopp’s side are reportedly keeping tabs on Lazio forward Joaquin Correa ahead of a potential summer transfer.
It is also added that the Argentine striker can be signed for half the amount of his €80m release clause as the Biancocelesti are planning to let him off the hook to balance their books.
The 26-year-old has turned into a top-quality forward since moving to Lazio, impressing in the past two seasons alongside his attacking partner Ciro Immobile.
