Chelsea winger Pedro will join Italian outfit Roma at the end of this season.
The Spaniard is out of contract soon and he will join the Serie A club, Roma on a free transfer. He will sign a two year contract with them.
Initially, there were rumours that Pedro would join Roma at the end of this month. However, Chelsea have managed to convince him to stay until the end of the season now.
Pedro recently signed a short term deal with the Blues so that he can play in their remaining games. Brazilian winger Willian signed a short extension as well.
Chelsea are chasing a top four finish and he could be vital to their hopes. Pedro has been a good servant ever since he moved to Stamford Bridge. He will be hoping to leave on a high as well.
It will be interesting to see how Pedro performs in the Italian league next season. He has proven himself in Spain and England already. He should be able to succeed in Italy as well.
The slow pace of the Serie A should suit him at this stage of his career.
Meanwhile, Chelsea will look to bring in a quality replacement for the Spaniard once this season is over. It will be interesting to see who comes in to replace Pedro.
The Blues have been linked with the likes of Kai Havertz and Jadon Sancho in the recent months.
