Loris Karius to return to Anfield in January

German goalkeeper Loris Karius is reportedly set to return to Anfield in January as Union Berlin have decided to cut short his loan spell after making only one appearance in the last three months.

The Reds-bound keeper spent the last season on loan at Besiktas and moved to Bundesliga in the summer, however, things haven’t gone in Karius’ way as he merely became a fringe figure in Union Berlin. Now, the German outfit has decided to send back the 27-year-old to Anfield in January.

Curtis Jones tipped for a bright future

Jones has somehow cemented his place in the Reds first team, making nine appearances in the Premier League and four in the Champions League. The 19-year-old also scored his first UCL goal in the 1-0 win against Ajax in the group stage. Last season, the English youngster was introduced into the first-team set-up and he made a quick impression by scoring against Aston Villa.
