Kylian Mbappe willing to see out his contract at Paris Saint-Germain

Mbappe ankle injury dampens PSG's 13th French Cup win

Paris Saint-Germain superstar Kylian Mbappe has informed the club that he wishes to see out the remainder of his contract.

The French international will be a free agent at the end of next season and he is not keen on extending his contract with the French outfit.

Kylian Mbappe has been linked with the likes of Real Madrid and Liverpool in the recent months and it will be interesting to see where he ends up.

Apparently the chance to join Real Madrid is a dream for the World Cup winner and he is rated highly by Zinedine Zidane.

Mbappe is already a world-class player and he is far from his peak right now. He would prove to be a sensational signing for any club in world football.

Despite approaching the final year of his contract, the French international is likely to cost a lot in the summer and it remains to be seen whether his suitors can afford him.

The Coronavirus pandemic has led to financial losses for every European club and his suitors will have to work hard to fulfil PSG’s demands.

Ideally, the French club will not want to lose him at this stage of his career but they will be powerless to stop him from leaving because of his contract situation.

If they refuse to let the World Cup winner leave this summer, they will be forced to lose him on a free transfer next year.

Losing a player of Mbappe’s calibre on a free transfer would be a catastrophe for Paris-Saint Germain.

It seems that the French outfit have managed to convince Neymar to extend his deal at the club but clearly, Mbappe has other ideas regarding his future.
