Phil Foden-Manchester City

New deals for Foden and Sterling

Manchester City recently agreed on a new deal with midfielder Kevin de Bruyne and they are now looking to tie down the likes of Phil Foden and Raheem Sterling to new contracts as well.

Apparently, talks with Phil Foden have progressed smoothly and there is hope that Sterling will commit his long term future to the Premier League club as well.

Both players have been outstanding for Manchester City in recent seasons and Guardiola will look to build his side around the two young players.

Romano reveals transfer strategy

Meanwhile journalist Fabrizio Romano has revealed Manchester City’s transfer strategy for this summer.

Apparently, the Premier League side are looking to be smart in the transfer market, this summer and they are unlikely to spend massive sums of money on a new striker.

Sergio Aguero is set to leave the club in the summer and Guardiola needs to bring in a quality replacement.

Romano believes that Manchester City will not be exploited in the transfer market, this summer and they will look at reasonable options for a lower price.

Apparently the likes of Danny Ings, Lautaro Martinez and Darwin Nunez are on the club’s radar along with the likes of Erling Haaland and Romelu Lukaku

The likes of Haaland and Lukaku are unlikely to come cheap and therefore City could shift their focus on talented young players with high potential. The likes of Nunez and Martinez could be superb additions for the long run.

Both players are exceptionally talented and they could develop into world-class stars in future.
