Emiliano Martinez pursuit

Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford at the end of this season and it appears that the Premier League side are already looking at potential replacements.

According to reports, the Red Devils are considering a move for the Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez who has been outstanding for the West Midlands club since joining them from Arsenal.

Argentine has established himself as one of the best keepers in the Premier League this season and it will be interesting to see if United can convince Villa to sell him this summer.

Best save success rate by league

Serie A: Mattia Perin - 76.7%
Premier League: Emiliano Martinez - 76.1%

Eric Bailly exit desire

Meanwhile defender Eric Bailly is looking to leave Manchester United in the near future.

The Ivory Coast defender has a contract until the end of next season and he is refusing to sign an extension.

Manchester United will not want to lose a player on a free transfer next summer and therefore they should look to cash in on him in the coming months.

Bailly has lost his starting berth since the arrival of Lindelof and Maguire and he needs to leave the club in order to play regular first-team football.

The former Villarreal defender has failed to fulfil his potential since joining the Red Devils and a fresh start could do him a world of good.

Pogba signs deal with Amazon

Meanwhile Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has signed a deal with Amazon Prime Video, and he is set to star in a documentary series that will air in 2022.

Apparently the documentary will follow the life of the French international and will give a unique insight into the player’s daily life on and off the pitch.

Head of European originals at Amazon Studios Georgia Brown said: “Paul Pogba is one of the most prominent talents of his time, so we are thrilled to be collaborating with him with an overall deal and his series ‘The Pogmentary’.

“We all know Paul for what he can do on a football pitch, but his influence reaches much further, and he is without doubt an icon for an entire generation.

“Through the unprecedented access afforded to us, Prime Video will show the man behind the fame, delving into his life off the pitch and letting him tell his story in his own words.”
