Declan Rice keen on Man United move
Manchester United have been linked with a move for the West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice in recent months.
The 22-year-old has developed into one of the best defensive midfielders in the country and the Red Devils could certainly use someone like him in their retreat.
Rice would be an upgrade on the likes of Nemanja Matic and Scott McTominay.
It will be interesting to see if the Hammers are willing to sanction the sale of their best player in the summer.
Previously manager David Moyes has claimed that Declan Rice is not going to be sold for a reasonable price and therefore Manchester United might have to pay a club-record fee to lure the midfielder to Old Trafford.
According to reports, Declan rice is keen on a move to Manchester United and it remains to be seen whether the young midfielder decides to force West Ham into selling him this summer.
Lingard resurrection
Meanwhile on-loan Manchester United attacker Jesse Lingard has been outstanding for West Ham since joining the club in January.
The 28-year-old has scored eight goals and has picked up four assists so far and no Premier League clear has scored more goals then Lingard since it moved to the London club.
The England international was struggling for regular game time at Old Trafford and it seems that the move to West Ham has resurrected his career.
Recent reports have revealed the unusual reason behind his explosive form since moving to West Ham.
Apparently, his high-rise apartment in London has helped improve his mindset and that has contributed to impressive performances.
“I think the environment is a big thing,” Lingard told beIN Sports.
“My house in Manchester is low down, you go down into the kitchen, its dark and in like a bunker.
“You being in that environment week in, week out, you know nothing else.
“Since I’ve moved to London I’m in an apartment where I’m high. There’s lots of light, I can see all the buildings in London, it makes you more bright and fresh.”
