Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa has signed an extension with the club.

The whites have been handed a timely boost before their Premier League first match against Liverpool tomorrow.

The club have confirmed that the Argentine manager has signed a one year deal which will keep him at the club for the next season.

It will be interesting to see if Leeds United can convince Bielsa to stay for the long run.

The Argentine has done a fantastic job since joining the club and he has managed to bring Leeds back to the Premier League after 16 years.

Leeds United will now be hoping to make their mark in the top flight and it will be interesting to see how they start their season against the defending champions tomorrow.

The whites will need to put in a strong performance and send out a message that they are no pushovers.

Leeds United have been active in the transfer market so far and they have already signed the likes of Robin Koch and Rodrigo Moreno. The newly-promoted Premier League side are thought to be looking at a creative midfielder now.

If Leeds can secure a top ten finish next season it will have been an impressive return to the top flight for them.

The Whites are pretty impressive going forward and if they can stay organized at the back, they will do well in the Premier League next season.
