The French midfielder has revealed that he wants to play for Real Madrid.

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has revealed that he wants to play for Real Madrid in future.

Pogba, who is currently on international duties, has said that Madrid is his dream destination.

“All football players would love to play for Real Madrid. It is a dream for me, why not one day?”

However, the French midfielder added that he wants to concentrate on the games at Manchester United for the time being.

“I am in Manchester and I love my club. I am playing in Manchester; I’m having fun and I want to do everything to put the club where it deserves it. I will give everything to the max, like my team-mates.”

“At the moment, I am in Manchester, and I am concentrating about getting back to my best form.”

Pogba also said that there had not been any talks over his contract extension with the Red Devils. The Frenchman’s contract expires next summer.

“I think there will be a moment when the club will come and talk to me and maybe offer me something, or not. So far, nothing has happened. I can’t tell you something that I don’t know.”

Real Madrid had been linked with the 27-year-old on several occasions in the past, with Zinedine Zidane wanting to join hands with his compatriot.

However, Pogba’s statement is something United wouldn’t have wanted to hear at this time as they have lost back to back games in the Premier League including the 6-1 humiliation against Spurs. At the same time, his future at Old Trafford is up in the air due to United’s lack of efforts in updating his contract.

Juventus also tried their best to reunite with Pogba in the summer transfer window.
