The Premier league end of the season awards have been announced, and Kevin De Bruyne has been chosen as the player of the season.

The Belgian playmaker has been outstanding this past season, and he has thoroughly deserved the award.

The likes of Henderson and Mane were also in the running, but there is no doubt that the Manchester City star was the pick of the bunch this year.

De Bruyne was also presented with the playmaker award after managing to level with Thierry Henry’s record of providing 20 assists in a Premier League season.

Meanwhile, Liverpool’s Trent Alexander Arnold picked up the young player of the year award for the past Premier League season.

The Liverpool full-back was only behind the briner in the assist tally this past season.

He picked up 13 assists in the Premier League from a defensive position.

The youngster set the record number of assists for a full back last year with 12 in the League, and now he has broken his own record.

Manchester city’s Ederson was awarded the Golden Glove for the most number of clean sheets, and Leicester city’s Jamie Vardy picked up the Golden Boot award.

Finally, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp picked up the manager of the season award for his outstanding achievement this year.

The German manager guided Liverpool to their first title win in three decades.

Klopp’s team did not just manage to win the League; they did it with swagger, and they were miles ahead of the chasing pack.

Liverpool won the Premier League title with seven games to spare, and it is a new Premier League record.
