Mourinho continues to throw players under the bus

Tottenham have had a mediocre season under Jose Mourinho so far and it seems that the Portuguese manager is starting to lose his patience.

After the draw against Newcastle United in their previous League game Mourinho seemed quite frustrated and he publicly hit out at his players.

This is not the first time Jose Mourinho has done this and he has been criticized for throwing his players under the bus previously at Chelsea and Manchester United as well.

While tough love might act as a motivator for certain players, it could also damage the morale of the squad and affect the players mentally.

It will be interesting to see if the Tottenham players can turn their form around in the coming weeks and whether Mourinho’s decision to criticize them publicly has a negative effect on the squad.

Harry Kane’s exit desire

Meanwhile, Tottenham star Harry Kane has been linked with a move away from the London club at the end of the season.

According to reports, the England international will ask to leave if Spurs fail to qualify for the Champions League.

A player of his calibre deserves to be playing at the highest level and challenging for the major honours but that might not be possible at Spurs right now.

The Londoners would have to improve their squad considerably in order to challenge the likes of Manchester City and it remains to be seen whether Kane decides to join a bigger club in the summer.

The 27-year-old is arguably the best player at the club and losing him could be a damaging blow to Tottenham’s aspirations.
