Guardiola would be happy for Aguero if he joins Premier League rival.

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has no concerns about Sergio Aguero joining a rival club in the Premier League. Perhaps, the Spanish boss insisted that he would be happy to see the Argentine around in England.

Man City recently confirmed that Aguero would leave at the end of this season and the reports emerged that the 33-year-old was eager to remain in the English top-flight despite interest from overseas.

Chelsea and Tottenham are said to be interested in the free transfer of Aguero while Barcelona and PSG are said to be keeping tabs.

When he was asked whether he would like to see Aguero playing against City week in and week out, Guardiola replied: My preference is his preference. His preference is my preference. The best for him is the best for us.

“All of us wish for Sergio to find the best for the last years in his career, for sure. We’ll be delighted with the decision he takes, the best for him and his family and his career.”

Players who can be sold for summer target Haaland

Erling Haaland continues to top the wishlist of Citizens ahead of the summer transfer window as they are planning to bring in a replacement for departing Aguero.

However, the Norwegian doesn’t come easy as Dortmund rate him around £150m.

Here are the players – mainly fringe players and loan stars – who City could flog to bring in Haaland: Lukas Nmecha, Aro Muric, Patrick Roberts, Jack Harrison, Yangel Herrera, Pedro Porro, Marlos Moreno, Matt Smith, Jayden Braff.

It will be interesting to see what kind of hype Mino Raiola’s road-show can generate before summer transfer window.
