Bologna

Bologna are ninth in the Serie A table this season and are coming on the back of a 1-0 win against Spezia, with Mark Arnautovic scoring the decisive goal from the penalty spot.

Their biggest win of the season came against Lazio weeks ago, as Bologna thrashed Maurizio Sarri’s side 3-0.

Now, they would look to do the same against Lazio’s rivals AS Roma on Wednesday.

Bologna will be aiming for a win against Giallorossi as it would take them closer to the top-four race.

Young Gambian forward Musa Barrow has continued his impressive form this season, mustering 4 goals and 3 assists in 13 games. His strike partner Arnautovic has found the nets six times this season.

AS Roma

AS Roma are pushing for a place in top-four after picking up back to back wins in Serie A.

Giallorossi made an impressive start to the season under Jose Mourinho but stuttered in the middle. But they are slowly starting to pick themselves up and would look to extend their three-match winning streak in all competitions.

They are coming on the back of a narrow 1-0 win over Torino in Serie A last weekend, with Tammy Abraham scoring the winner.

The English striker has impressed in his debut season in Italy, racking up 8 goals and 2 assists in all competitions for Giallorossi.

Roma will be affected by the absence of star midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini, who sustained a thigh injury against Torino and has been ruled out until January as well.

Nonetheless, Mourinho has a talented squad at his disposal and he would look to claim all three points against Bologna.
