Leicester City

Bottom of the table Leicester City will look to get their first win in the Premier League this season when they welcome fellow strugglers and the team sitting just ahead of them in the league table on Monday night.

The Foxes have endured a miserable start to the season so far, having lost six of their opening seven games (D1). One point from seven league games represents their worst seven-game start to a league season in any division since the beginning of the PL era

And so, Brendan Rodgers’ come into this round of games as the Premier League’s (PL) only winless team. Their last two matches saw embarrassing 5-2 and 6-2 losses to Brighton and Tottenham respectively, leaving most of the Leicester fans calling for Rodgers to be sacked.

While that may not happen yet, the former Celtic boss will be desperate for his side to get a win in this game especially as it is being rumoured that club chairman Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha will be in attendance when Leicester face Nottingham Forest.

Possible Leicester City starting line-up

Danny Ward; Timothy Castagne, Jonny Evans, Wout Faes, James Justin; Boubakary Soumare; Youri Tielemans, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, James Maddison, Harvey Barnes; Jamie Vardy.

Injured: Ricardo Pereira, Ryan Bertrand

Doubtful: Patson Daka

Suspended: None

Nottingham Forest

Despite making 22 new signings this summer, Nottingham have failed to hit the ground running in their return to the Premier League.

The visitors have won just one game so far (D1, L5) and as a result, sit in 19th place after seven rounds. They come into this tie just three points better off than their hosts after losing their last four matches.

They conceded 15 goals across these four games, highlighting their main weakness, and showing that Steve Cooper’s record 22 summer signings are yet to gel cohesively.

For a team that conceded 40 goals in the Championship last season, their weakness in defence in the Premier League indicates that there have been too many changes at once.

With the possibility of losing five consecutive league matches in a single season for the first time since December 2004, the visitors will be hoping that they can get the needed win against a struggling Leicester side who they beat 4-1 in the FA Cup last season.

Possible Nottingham Forest starting line-up

Dean Henderson; Willy Boly, Steve Cook, Cheikhou Kouyate; Neco Williams, Ryan Yates, Remo Freuler, Renan Lodi; Jesse Lingard, Brennan Johnson, Taiwo Awoniyi.

Injured: Omar Richards, Scott Mckenna, Orel Mangala

Doubtful: Moussa Niakhate, Morgan Gibbs-White

Suspended: None
