Liverpool are keen on snapping up the Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly this summer.
As per reports, Jurgen Klopp is trying to convince the player to move to Anfield.
Apparently, the Liverpool boss has already spoken to Koulibaly on the phone and the idea of playing in the Champions League attracts the player.
Liverpool are the current Champions League holders and they will soon win the Premier League.
It will be hard to turn them down and Koulibaly is likely to be tempted.
Furthermore, if he moves to Liverpool, he will get to play alongside the best defender in the world Virgil van Dijk.
The Reds would have the best defence in the world if they managed to pair Van Dijk with Koulibaly.
Napoli are thought to be looking for a fee of around €70-75m for their star player.
Meanwhile, the Reds are all set to bid farewell to midfielder Adam Lallana.
The player is out of contract in the summer and he has not been offered an extension yet.
As per reports, Lallana has been offered a deal by Leicester City.
The midfielder has worked with the Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers before and the two share a good relationship.
It is no surprise that Rodgers wants to snap up the attacking midfielder on a free transfer this summer.
Lallana has the experience and the ability to make a big difference to Leicester’s midfield next season. On a free transfer he could prove to be a major bargain for the Foxes.
