Inter have added the in-form La Viola striker to their summer transfer wishlist.

Inter Milan could soon part ways with star striker Romelu Lukaku after reports emerged that the Nerazzurri are ready to accept Chelsea’s whopping offer of €128m.

Now, the Nerazzurri want to fill the void left by the Belgian and have reportedly enquired about Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic.

The 21-year-old turned the heads of many following a stellar campaign in Serie A last term, mustering a total of 21 goals, which also saw him win the league’s best young player of the season.

Vlahovic has now become one of the coveted young strikers in Europe, with Premier League giants Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool being linked with him.

La Viola are ready to part ways with the Serbian prodigy for a reported €60m, but Inter could afford only €40m due to their financial difficulties.

Inter are also looking at the possibility of an initial loan offer with a view to making his signing a permanent later – a strategy Juventus used to get the services of Federico Chiesa from La Viola.

Lukaku’s departure could be a huge blow for Inter, especially when they are set to defend the Scudetto in the upcoming season.

Vlahovic can be a productive replacement, but it remains to be seen whether Inter can meet the demands of Fiorentina.

Inter’s new manager Simone Inzaghi has earned the reputation of getting the best out of attackers – as we saw in the case of Ciro Immobile and Joaquin Correa in recent seasons at Lazio.

The Nerazzurri have also been linked with Atalanta striker Duvan Zapata, who they cite as an out and out replacement for Lukaku.
