Three Manchester United stars pivotal to Premier League title glory

The Red Devils have clinched the top spot following the win against Burnley.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks like he is going to bring back the heydays of Manchester United, who became the leaders of the Premier League table following the 1-0 win against Burnley.

The Red Devils also leapfrogged Liverpool in the process and are three points of the defending champions.

Although there was criticism at the start, United have bounced back well and are looking to have a crack at the Premier League title, which was won last under Sir Alex Ferguson in 2013.

There were three players who were pivotal to United’s win against Burnley.

Luke Shaw had a great outing against the Claret and perhaps the English left-back has produced some impressive displays of late.

Next up is Eric Bailly, the defender who was at fault during the 6-1 hammering against Tottenham but now is being considered as the best centre-back in the current above, better than Harry Maguire. The Portuguese had earlier received a lot of praise for his humongous display against Aston Villa and he was also robust against Burnley’s attack.

Last but not least is the midfielder Paul Pogba, who also scored the winning goal for United. The Frenchman is another player who endured a rough patch for a while, but he is looking in fine control after some impressive performances.

United will travel to Anfield for the Sunday’s crunch clash against the Reds, who are looking for a win to get back to the first place.
