Runar Alex Runarsson nearing Arsenal move

Arsenal are inches away from announcing the signing of Dijon goalkeeper Runar Alex Runarsson. The Iceland international is expected to undergo his medical ahead of his 1.5m pounds move to Emirates Stadium. The 25-year-old has been touted as the replacement for Emiliano Martinez, who had left the Gunners to join Aston Villa.

David Raya offers denied

Arsenal have had offers worth 10m pounds rejected by Brentford for their goalkeeper David Raya. The Spanish goalkeeper is highly backed by his compatriot and Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta. The Gunners are closing in on a move for Runarsson but are also looking at the possibility of adding Raya to the squad ahead of next season.

Houssem Aouar prefers Arsenal Move

Lyon midfielder Houssem Aouar is reportedly considering Arsenal as his dream destination. The Gunners are working hard for the transfer of the Frenchman but haven’t made any breakthrough though. The North Londoners are ready to make an offer worth around 36m pounds for Aouar, who is rated at 40m pounds by Lyon.

Inter Milan also eyeing Thomas Partey

Thomas Partey has a new suitor in Inter Milan who are eyeing a summer move for him. However, the Gunners are keen on Atletico Madrid midfielder and Edu Garcia is looking to generate more funds for the transfer. Partey is seen as a replacement for exit-linked Lucas Torreira. Furthermore, Inter have had a swap deal involving Marcelo Brozovic and Perisic rejected by Atletico.
