Juventus

Juventus will look to continue their push for a top-four finish when they welcome Verona to Turin on Sunday afternoon.

The Old Lady come into this game on the back of a 0-0 draw against Stefano Pioli’s AC Milan in the league. The game saw Juventus fail to register a shot on target, while AC Milan managed four. But the result also extended their unbeaten run in the league to nine games.

They currently sit in fifth place on the league table, just one point behind Atalanta having played a game more. A win in this game could see them climb into the top four if Atalanta drop points in their game against Cagliari.

Max Allegri’s side have scored only 14 goals at home this season. But the signing of Golden Boot contender Dušan Vlahović from Fiorentina for a January-record Serie A fee of 70 million euros should help address that deficiency in attack.

Possible Juventus starting line-up

Wojciech Szczesny, Juan Cuadrado, Matthijs de Ligt, Giorgio Chiellini, Mattia De Sciglio, Federico Bernardeschi, Adrien Rabiot, Weston McKennie, Paulo Dybala, Alvaro Morata, Dusan Vlahovic.

Injured: Federico Chiesa

Doubtful: Federico Bernardeschi, Alex Sandro

Suspended: Manuel Locatelli

Verona

Ninth-placed Hellas Verona will hope to keep their chances of finishing in the top seven alive when they travel to the Allianz Stadium on Sunday.

Igor Tudor’s side have taken 33 points from their opening 23 games (W9, D6, L8). They are currently five points behind AS Roma, who are in sixth place.

They come into this tie on the back of a 2-1 win over Sinisa Mihajlovic’s Bologna in the league. Goals from attacker Gianluca Caprari and veteran Croatian striker Nikola Kalinic ensured victory for Hellas Verona. Italy international Riccardo Orsolini scored the consolation goal for Bologna.

They have recorded their longest unbeaten top-flight run against Juventus since the late 1980s (W2, D2), which gives them the chance here to go five SA H2Hs unbeaten for the first time.

Possible Verona starting line-ups

Lorenzo Montipo, Federico Ceccherini, Koray Gunter, Nicolo Casale, Davide Faraoni, Adrien Tameze, Miguel Veloso, Darko Lazovic, Antonin Barak, Gianluca Caprari, Nikola Kalinic.

Injured: Pawel Dawidowicz

Doubtful: Gianluca Frabotta

Suspended: Giovanni Simeone
