Celta Vigo

After an indifferent start to their La Liga campaign, Celta Vigo got their first league win of the season against Girona last time out in a moral-boosting 1-0 win away from home last weekend.

The hosts had lost two and drawn one of their opening three games, but finally got their first three points of the campaign and their first clean sheet in five games against a Girona side that could not take their chances.

They will now return to Galicia hoping to pick up a first home league win of the campaign at the third attempt having already lost here to Real Madrid (4-1) and drawn the game versus Espanyol (2-2).

Given that they won in four of their last five home head-to-head encounters with Cádiz (L1), this seems like the perfect opportunity to get up and running at the Estadio de Balaídos.

Possible Celta Vigo starting line-up

Agustin Marchesin; Hugo Mallo, Unai Nunez, Joseph Aidoo, Javi Galan; Daniel De; Fran Beltran, Franco Cervi, Rodriguez Arnaiz, Carles Perez; Iago Aspas.

Injured: Renato Tapia

Doubtful: None

Suspended: None

Cadiz

After securing their La Liga status with a final day win over Alaves last season, Cadiz have begun the season in the worst possible way.

The visitors have lost all three of their opening games this season. Their last outing was an embarrassing 4-0 loss to Athletic Bilbao which means that they have failed to score in each of their opening three games.

The latest result also means that Cadiz have now made their first three-game losing start in the top-flight since 1988/89. However, they did draw their fourth game and survive in that season, and even had to wait until round five to win last term, so a slow start is not necessarily fatal in their bid to avoid relegation.

But regardless, they will be desperate to get their first points on the board when they travel to Vigo on Friday. Given that they were one of just three sides to pick up more points away than at home last season on the back of a league-low 18 points at home, an away game could prove to be the catalyst for a Cádiz revival.

Possible Cadiz starting line-up

Jeremias Ledesma; Joseba Zaldua, Luis Hernandez, Fali, Alphonso Espino; Ivan Alejo, Jose Mari, Antonio Blanco, Santiago Arzamendia; Alvaro Negredo, Antony Lozano.

Injured: Carcelen Valencia, Jon Ander Garrido

Doubtful: None

Suspended: None
