Elijah Adebayo scouted

Newcastle United are looking to improve their attacking options next month and the Premier League side are thought to be scouting the Luton Town attacker Elijah Adebayo.

According to Chronicle Live, the Premier League side had a scout in attendance when the 23-year-old scored against Fulham over the weekend.

The striker has 10 goals in 20 games so far this season and it will be interesting to see if Newcastle decide to make a move for him when the transfer window reopens in January.

Eddie Howe is overly reliant on Callum Wilson for goals and the arrival of Elijah Adebayo will help share the goalscoring burden with the former Bournemouth striker.

Meanwhile, Luton Town will be hoping to hold on to their star striker next month and it remains to be seen well the Newcastle can lure him away with the promise of regular first-team football.

Dusan Vlahovic bid expected

Newcastle United are keen on signing the Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic as well.

According to Calciomercato, the 21-year-old could be heading to England soon and Newcastle’s owners have green-lighted a bid of around £85 million for the Serbian international striker.

The 21-year-old is undoubtedly one of the most exciting attacking prospects in European football right now and he has scored 15 goals in 17 league matches this season.

The striker scored 21 goals for Fiorentina last year as well and he could be the proven goal scorer Newcastle are missing right now.

Eddie Howe needs a quality forward to support the likes Callum Wilson and Vlahovic would be an exceptional long term acquisition for his side.

The likes of Manchester United and Tottenham are thought to be keen on the Serbian international as well and it will be interesting to see where the player ends up.

A player of his calibre deserves to play in the Champions League and Newcastle United will not be able to provide him with that opportunity. It remains to be seen whether the striker is willing to join a bottom-half Premier League club next season.
