Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal leading the race for £60m-rated Dusan Vlahovic

Dusan Vlahovic-Fiorentina

Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic has been linked with a move away from the Italian club for months now and it appears that Premier League sides Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal are currently leading the race to sign the Serbian international striker.

The 21-year-old striker has developed into one of the most exciting young prospects in European football and he managed to score 21 league goals for the Italian club last season.

It seems that Fiorentina are prepared to sell their star striker when the transfer window reopens in January but the Premier League side will have to come forward with a fee of around £60 million.

According to La Nazione, Arsenal entered into talks with the player’s representatives last month and the Gunners are currently emerging as the favourites to sign the Serbian.

However, Tottenham could still sign the player if they agree to meet Fiorentina’s asking price.

It is no secret that the two clubs need to improve their attacking options and Vlahovic could prove to be a quality long term investment period

Arsenal are expected to lose Alexandre Lacazette because of his contract situation and the Serbian could prove to be a quality replacement period

Meanwhile, Harry Kane has struggled to capture his peak form for Tottenham this season and Antonio Conte needs to bring in a quality alternative.

Vlahovic has already proven himself in Serie A and a move to the Premier League could be the ideal new challenge for the player. The striker has been linked with other European clubs as well.
