Inter will block Conte approach for their players

Tottenham Hotspur appointed Antonio Conte as their manager earlier this month and Inter Milan are already planning to block their former manager from signing any of their players when the transfer window reopens in January.

Conte will need to strengthen his Tottenham side during the winter transfer window but Inter Milan director Piero Ausilio will not let any of his players leave if Conte comes calling.

According to reports via the Express, Alessandro Bastoni and Nicolo Barella have been linked with the move to the Premier League side and Stefan de Vrij has also been mentioned as a potential target.

Spurs could definitely use more quality at the back and in the central midfield. De Vrij and Barella would be exceptional signings for them.

It will be interesting to see if Conte can strengthen his side sufficiently and launch a proper challenge for a top-four finish this season.

Mourinho eyeing Premier League raid

Meanwhile, former Premier League manager Jose Mourinho is thought to be looking at Premier League players to strengthen his Roma squad during the January transfer window.

According to Corriere dello Sport, the likes of Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Harry Winks and Antonio Rudiger are on his radar.

Roma have started the season reasonably well under Jose Mourinho but the Italian side have shown inconsistent performances in recent weeks.

They will need to improve this squad during the January transfer window in order to challenge the likes of Napoli and AC Milan for the title this season and it remains to be seen whether the capital club can pull off the necessary transfers.
