Tottenham are in the market for a striker this summer and they have been linked with quite a few names already. As per reports, Loren Moron from Real Betis is a target for them. The 11-goal La Liga striker is being looked at as a partner/backup for Harry Kane.
Jose Mourinho is over-reliant on Kane for goals and he is keen on adding to his striking options this summer.
During Kane’s absence, Spurs have struggled a lot this season due to the lack of backup strikers.
Moron could certainly fill that void next season if he joins the Londoners.
The striker as a €60m release clause but that could be lowered if he signs a new deal with Betis. Moron’s current deal expires in 2022 and the Spanish club want to tie him down to a longer contract.
It will be interesting to see if Spurs make their move for the player soon.
Moron will be keen on joining a top Premier League club and if Spurs come forward with a good offer, he might not want to sign a new deal with Betis.
The Spanish side could be under pressure to sell their star player if that happens.
Jose Mourinho is a world class manager and he should be able to convince the player to join Tottenham.
It will be interesting to see what happens in the next few weeks.
Moron is a target for Italian clubs Milan and Napoli as well.
