With most domestic leagues now complete, the European clubs will look to focus on the European knockout competitions in the coming weeks.
The Champions League and the Europa League will be decided in a knockout style tournament starting next month.
The likes of Bayern and Manchester City will be hoping to go all the way in the Champions League. Meanwhile, the likes of Manchester United will be hoping to win the Europa League this season.
As far as the Champions League is concerned, the round of sixteen games will be played between the likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester City, Juventus, Lyon, Napoli and Bayern Munich on the 7th and 8th of August.
PSG, Leipzig, Atalanta and Atletico are already through to the Quarterfinals of the Champions League.
The Quarterfinals will be played between 12th and 15th of August, and the Semifinals will follow on the 18-19th of August in Lisbon.
Estádio do Sport Lisboa e Benfica will host the Champions League final this season on August 23.
The remaining Europa League games will be played on 5th and 6th of August involving Man United, Bayer Leverkusen, Shakhtar Donetsk, Wolverhampton, Basel, Inter, Getafe, Sevilla, Roma and Copenhagen.
For the upcoming rounds, the Quarter-finals will take place between August 10 – August 11, Semi-finals: August 16 – August 17, Final: August 21. These games will be held in Cologne, Duisburg, Düsseldorf and Gelsenkirchen.
