Ex-Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo has shared a cryptic message on his Instagram page just two days after Portugal’s elimination from the World Cup.
The veteran forward has been in the eye of the media recently after events surrounding him in the World Cup. First, he fell out of favour with national team boss Fernando Santos after appearing to complain when substituted in his side’s final group stage game against South Korea. He then started from the bench in Portugal’s subsequent games, one of which was a narrow 1-0 loss to Morocco that sent them crashing out of that tournament.
With his domestic career still up in the air, the 37-year-old took to Instagram to reveal his ‘three aspects of reality’ in a post on Monday night.
The forward shared an image that said ‘three aspects of reality-pain, uncertainty and constant work’.
The picture comes from a recent Netflix documentary directed by Jonah Hill entitled; Stutz.
The documentary focuses on American psychotherapist Phil Stutz, who works on life improvement.
Ronaldo also recently penned a long message to his followers on Instagram in which he reassured his fans that he will not walk away from the Portugal national team.
Meanwhile, the forward Ronaldo is yet to announce which clubs he will be signing for, having left Manchester United mid-way through the World Cup.
