Cristiano Ronaldo has been linked with other clubs such as Roma, Chelsea, and Sporting Lisbon in recent weeks. Bayern Munich were also rumoured to be in the line to sign the 37-year-old. Though the club denied that with an official statement
Manchester United failed to qualify for the Champions League as they finished sixth in the last Premier League season. This has caused wild transfer rumours; those are spreading about moving out from his current club.
However, his fellow teammate Bruno Fernandes has faith in Ronaldo. He thinks that the club cannot afford to lose such a valuable player, and undoubtedly, he can still inspire at Old Trafford. He is expecting to see Ronaldo at pre-season training when it starts.
In a newspaper report, Fernandes said, “I spoke to him a few weeks ago – we’re both on vacation, no one bothers friends on vacation.
“I hope to meet him on [July 4] to train there [at Manchester United]. I’m not expecting more than that.
“There is nothing more than that, but each one takes care of their future. I don’t believe that the club is willing to lose a player of the value of Cristiano.”
According to Sun, Manchester United have no intention to sell the Portugal star. Indeed he is one of the key players for The Red Devils. Are we ready to see CR7 playing for the other clubs? Other Leagues? is it time to bid farewell to Premier League?
Sporting director Hugo Viana is open to the possibility of Ronaldo moving out if it is what the superstar wants.
