The Manchester United striker is keen on a January exit.

Anthony Martial’s agent has recently revealed that the Manchester United forward is keen on an exit in the January transfer window.

The injury-prone French forward has failed to become a regular at Old Trafford this season, making only 7 appearances in the Premier League.

Martial’s agent Philippe Lamboley said (h/t ESPN): “Anthony wishes to leave the club in January. He just needs to play. He doesn’t want to stay in January and I will speak to the club soon.”

According to a report from the Daily Mail, Ligue 1 giants PSG and Lyon are considering a move for Martial in January.

Paris Saint-Germain have identified the Red Devils star as a replacement for Kylian Mbappe, whose contract at the French Capital expires next summer.

Lyon are considering a loan move for Martial to bolster their attacking options amid a disappointing 2021-22 Ligue 1 campaign.

Spanish outlet Marca reports that Barcelona and Newcastle United are interested in Martial’s services as well.

The Catalan giants are scouring the market for attacking reinforcements, as Sergio Aguero has been diagnosed with a heart condition while Memphis Depay is ruled out for a month due to injury.

Barca’s new manager Xavi wants to bring a prolific forward who can solve the attacking woes instantly.

Newcastle, backed by rich Saudi owners, are poised for a productive transfer window and have lined up several marquee players as potential targets which include Martial.

The former AS Monaco forward seems to be desperate for regular game time and it remains to be seen whether he would stay put at United or seek a transfer in January.
