The Portuguese youngster could be on his way from Spain next summer.

Atletico Madrid are ready to part ways with their record acquisition Joao Felix.

Los Rojiblancos are said to have told Felix’s agent Jorge Mendes that the forward can leave the club if a suitable offer arrives.

According to EuroSport, Four Premier League clubs, Manchester United, LiverpoolArsenal and Newcastle United, are in the race to sign the 22-year-old.

United’s interim boss Ralf Rangnick wants Felix to be an integral part of the new era and the German manager is ready to splurge the cash for his transfer.

So are Newcastle United, who recently underwent a mega takeover by a Saudi Arabian consortium. However, the former Benfica star seems to be not interested in a move to St. James Park.

Although the Gunners are said to be in contention, it would be highly difficult for them to meet his transfer fee.

Liverpool are reportedly interested only in makeshift signings due to the prospective departures of Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah for the African Cup of Nations. It remains to be seen whether their interest in Felix is concrete.

Felix has struggled to live up to the expectations at Atletico due to injuries coupled with inconsistency.

The Portuguese star has fallen down the pecking order of Diego Simeone following the arrival of Antoine Griezmann in the summer.

Felix has made 13 appearances in all competitions this season, managing to find the net only once.
