After Edin Dzeko signing, Inter Milan are looking to bolster their line-up from Serie A competitions. This may indicate another departure in the coming days.

Inter Milan are looking to sign a striker this summer after the departure of Romelu Lukaku.

Inter Milan are in the market for a new striker as they have recently let go of their talisman Romelu Lukaku to Chelsea in a 97.5m pounds deal.

The Nerazzurri are looking to invest part of the generated amount in a new striker, who can lead the line in the absence of Lukaku.

Serie A champions have reportedly drawn up a three-man shortlist for a new striker: Lorenzo InsigneDuvan Zapata and Joaquin Correa.

It has been added that Insigne is the least acquirable option because of Napoli’s high asking fee.

The Italian forward is yet to pen a new deal – his current contract runs out next summer – and has been linked with an exit from Napoli.

Although he has been an integral part of Napoli over the years, his name has caught the attention of Europe’s top clubs following his impressive run in Euro 2020.

Inter’s arch-rivals AC Milan have also registered an interest in Insigne, whom Napoli value around 40m euros.

Atalanta striker Zapata is another player Inter are keeping close tabs on as they cite him as an out and out replacement for Lukaku due to the imposing physique and the ability to hold the ball.

Lazio are also willing to sell Correa this summer and have labelled a fee of around 30m euros, with Inter and Juventus monitoring his situation.

The Argentine striker has been excellent for the Biancocelestri over the last two seasons, coming up with goods consistently in a two-strikers partnership with Ciro Immobile. Furthermore, Inter manager Simone Inzaghi, who recently moved from Lazio, wants a reunion with Correa.
