Gareth Bale says he knows where he will play next season but can’t reveal it now to avoid chaos

Wales striker Gareth Bale has declared that he knows where his club future lies but has chosen to remain tight-lipped to avoid chaos.

The attacker who joined Tottenham last season on-loan from Real Madrid claims that his future is already decided. However, the decision Bale says can only be made public after the Euros.

The 31-year-old scored two goals in his side’s 4-2 win over Leicester City on the last day of the season to take his tally for the season to 16 goals.

The striker’s future remains unclear, with a return to Real Madrid unlikely for Bale despite a largely successful loan spell in London.

Speaking to Sky Sports about his future after his side’s win at the King Power Stadium, the striker said

“It will happen after the Euros. I know what I’m doing, but it will just cause chaos if I say anything.”

When asked when the decision will be revealed, Bale said: “Whenever I decide.

“I am not thinking about anything. All I’m concentrating on now is obviously finishing this season off strong.

“We meet up straight away for the Euros, and I’m not thinking about anything else other than Wales.”

Tottenham reportedly holds a first refusal option over another loan deal or permanent transfer for Bale, who has lost trust in Spain after falling out with Zinedine Zidane. The clause in Spurs agreement with Madrid reportedly allows the London club to keep the Welshman for a second campaign, provided Bale agrees to it.
