Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez has been linked with a move to Barcelona this summer.

As per ESPN, the Catalan giants have now agreed on personal terms with the Argentine forward.

Martinez is one of the most talented young forwards in the game right now, and it will be interesting to see if the Spanish giants can bring him to Camp Nou this summer.

Barcelona will have to arrange funds for the transfer first. They need to sell fringe players like Philippe Coutinho this summer.

The Brazilian has failed to establish himself as a key player at Barcelona since his big-money move from Liverpool. He is currently on loan at Bayern Munich, and it remains to be seen if the Catalan giants can find a permanent buyer for the playmaker this summer.

The Spanish outfit paid around €160m for the Brazilian, and they will be lucky to recoup even half of that.

Barcelona need to sign a top-class forward as the long term replacement of Luis Suarez. Lautaro has a similar playing style, and he could replace the Uruguayan star in the long run.

Suarez is in his 30s, and he will need to be phased out soon.

Inter Milan won’t be keen on selling their prized young forward for a knockdown price, and they will demand a premium for his services.

Barcelona should be prepared to break the back for Lautaro if they really want to sign him this summer.
